摘  要:讨论了单极的基于光纤布喇格光栅的马赫-曾德尔干涉仪(MZ-FBG)的串联OADM,并且在单极的MZ-FBG基础上加入光开关和合波器进行改进,设计了一种新型的并联ROADM。这种结构的ROADM避免了串联OADM缺乏可控机制和保护功能的缺点,具有很大的可扩展性。为验证该结构的优越性,设计并分析了4级并联的ROADM,实验结果表明,该ROADM在直通状态、下载状态和上载状态下的平均插入损耗均小于3dB,信号间的隔离度大于20dB。最后讨论了影响该结构的ROADM性能的主要因素。Reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexer (ROADM) with the ability of dynamic configuration will be one of the core equipment for the future optical network. This paper discussed traditional fixed OADM in series connection consist of the single-stage Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) based on Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG), then improved the single-stage MZ-FBG with adding a 1 × 20SW and a Y-model combiner, designed a novel Reconfigurable OADM based on the updated MZ-FBG in parallel connection. This ROADM avoided the OADM in series connection's lack of controllability and protection condition, had the ability to upgrade. In order to prove the advantage of this architecture, the ROADM with 4-stage parallel connection is designed and analyzed. The experimental result shows that the average insertion loss at pass status, drop status and add status of such ROADM is lower than 3dB, and the isolation between any two adjoining channels is greater than 20dB. Finally, the major factors influencing the performance of this ROADM are discussed.
