摘　　要：从电子期刊的定义、类型和获取途径入手,论述了电子期刊在高校图书馆中的重要地位和作用,指出充分利用电子期刊及网上免费资源,走联合订购、资源共享之路是高校图书馆发展的需要。Starting form the definition, type and access of electronic periodicals, the paper has expounded the important position and role of electronic periodicals in university＇s libraries, and pointed out that in order to make full use of the electronic periodicals on web free of charge, it is essential to unfold activities of joint order and resource share so as to meet the demand of university library development.
