摘　　要：青岛市承办2008年奥帆赛,为青岛提供了一个千载难逢和加速发展的历史性机遇,奥运文化和奥运经济的强大推力,将有力地促进青岛社会、经济和城市现代化水平的全面提升,大大加快现代化的进程,对青岛市全面建设小康社会,推动改革开放和现代化建设事业的跨越式发展,在全国率先基本实现现代化必将产生重大而深远的影响。The 2008 Olympic Events to be held in Qingdao provides a rare chance for the accelerated development of Qingdao. The powerful cultural and economic propelling force of the Olympics will greatly uplift Qingdao in terms of social and economical development and urban modernization, speeding up its modernization process, and produce profound influence on its overall construction of a well - being society and rapid development of its reform, opening- up, and modernization drive, making it possible for Qingdao to be the first city to basically realize modernization in China.
