摘　　要：沈氏家族在两汉之际迁居吴兴地域之后,政治社会地位起伏不定,最终在由孙吴亡国而引发的江南社会秩序的重构过程中上升为吴姓豪族。自兹以降,吴兴沈氏又进而力图谋求士族化,却以先后两次家难而告终。其在汉晋之际的沉浮升降,实际上反映了非士族阶层在日益狭小的发展空间内,艰难奋进却又屡遭挫折的历史命运。The Shen＇ s family of Wuxing, which immigrated into Wu-xing region in the early first century, failed to climb up to the upper class until the late West Jin dynasty. Afterwards, they struggled for higher social status under the regime of East Jin dynasty and ended up in family disaster successively. The ups and downs of the Shen＇ s family mirrored the hard struggle of common folks, a destiny to them, as the space for their development was limited.
