摘　　要：本文试图揭示宗族或祖先祭坛的生命力所在。作者认为,整体而言,无论是否受到地方精英的操纵,地方社会对民间传统的振兴,实质上是拥抱全球化的一种理性选择或另类表达。无论是地方上各种官方的形象工程,或是民间传统复兴,它们所透露出来的信息有一点是相同的:地方化或再地方化。它们实际上都是对全球化潮流的积极回应。因此,全球化无法带来某种同质性的文化,反倒刺激了文化多样性建构。The revitalization of ancestral cult in the nural areas in China encourages this author in the belief that the revival of folk tradition, whether controlled by local elites or not, is actually a rational choice and an alternative way of embracing glebalization. What the local image projects or the revival of folk tradition convey to us is a piece of message loud and clear： localization and re-localization. Globalization has not brought about a homogeneous culture. On the contrary, it has bred cultural diversity.
