THE NEW EXPLANATION OF ENERGY PEAK AT 83 eV IN XPS CHARTS OF PYRITE AND ARSENOPYRITE

摘  要:从原子及离子中电子的行为与结合能之间的关系出发,结合有关的实验事实,指出结合能不仅与氧化态(价态)正相关,而且与颗粒粒径也正相关,并推导出了结合能与粒径之间的关系式。同时笔者由Alred-Rochow电负性数据判断认为黄铁矿和毒砂中次显微金不可能呈负氧化数金Au-形式存在,并因而认为黄铁矿和毒砂XPS谱图上出现了83eV附近的激发峰是由粒径细小的微包裹体自然金颗粒所引起的。计算得到这些金颗粒的半径约为500nm。由此出发笔者还解释了XPS实验的一些其他事实。并最终认为次显微金在黄铁矿和毒砂中不可能以类质同象金(Au1+、Au3+、和Au-)形式存在。According to the relationship between binding energy and eleetron behavior of atom and ion, and in reference to the effects of relative experiments, the authors point out that the binding energy has direct proportion relation with both oxidation number and radius of particle, and carries out the relation formula between binding energy and radius. Meanwhile, the author also thinks that the submicro gold cannot be negative oxidafion number gold (Au -) in Pyrite and Arenopyrite, according to the Allred Rochow electronegativity data of elements. So, the author considers that the energy peak near 83 ev in XPS charts of Pyrite and Arsemopyrite, is produced by micro inclusion native gold. The calculated radius of those particles is alout 500 nm. Then, the author also explains some other conclusions of XPS experiment. It is finally considered that the submicro gold in Pyrite and Arsenopyrite cannot be isomorphous gold (Au 1+ , Au 3+ , Au -).
