The effect of molecular weight regulator. rubber partcle size and rubber content on the mechanical and optical properties of MBS and PVS/MBS was investigated. MBS mixed with rubber particles of 1 μm (from bulk-suspension process) and 0. 2 μm (from emilsion process) was used to modify PVC resin with satisfactory results. The morphology of PVC/MBS blends was studied by TEM.
