摘　　要：此谱内容主要包括两方面:一是在前人研究基础上重新考订扬雄生平及著作。一是择录扬雄所处时代中诸如政治、文化等社会生活大事,以期为扬雄研究提供一些较为翔实重要的背景资料。This paper attempts to re - examine the chronological life of Yang Xiong （53 BC - 18 AD） ,a distinguished Hart poet and Confucianist philosopher.The book A Chronological Life of Yang Xiong aims at a re-investigation of Yang＇ s life story and writings and an indepth examination of some political and social events in his time in an effort to provide fuller and more accurate background information on contemporary studies of Yang Xiong.
