摘　　要：Vague集在刻画事物性质较之传统模糊集更加直观自然,将其引入到图像检索系统中,提出并实现了基于Vague集的图像检索模型IRUV(Image RetrievalUsing Vague)及其相关检索和反馈算法。实验结果表明,该模型和算法能够有效地刻画图像性质,并且有着良好的图像匹配检索效果。Compare with traditional Fuzzy sets, Vague sets is more natural and more directly perceived through the senses on characterizing feature of things. So we introduced it into image retrieval system. A model called IRUV （ Image Retrieval Using Vague） and the relevant feedback algorithm for image retrieval based on Vague sets, are designed and implemented. The experimental results indicate that this model and algorithm are efficient in characterizing image feature and can provide satisfactory image retrieval performance.
