摘　　要：小城镇体育是我国农村体育发展的支撑点,是社会主义初级阶段农村体育发展的重要特征;小城镇体育多元化发展,以城市体育发展为参照物来带动农村体育发展,以农村的传统节日为目标,注重区域背景下小城镇体育功能的构建,是小城镇体育发展的基本走向。PE of small towns is the supporting spot about the development of PE in countryside in our country, it is the important characteristics about the development of PE in countryside in the primary stage of socialism. The development of diversity of PE in small towns, can bring along the development of PE in countryside and regard the development of PE in cities as a reference and it can also regard the traditional festival as an aim and attach importance to the construction about the functions of PE in small towns under the regional background. It is the basic developed tendency of PE in small towns.
