摘　　要：麦角硫因是自然界中一种稀有天然氨基酸,在机体内具有重要的生理活性,国外研究表明其具有较强的抗氧化作用,目前国内相关报道很少。文章对麦角硫因的理化特性、在自然界中的分布、生物学功能、代谢过程及其分离纯化方法作了简单介绍,并展望了麦角硫因的应用前景。Ergothioneine （EGT） is a rare amino acid in the nature,it is an important active substance found in fungi and various animal tissues. Studies abroad have demonstrated that EGT can act as a natural antioxidant which is capable of scavenging different radicals and inhibiting lipid oxidation. The physical and chemical properties, distribution, metabolisCm, biological functions of EGT, and its development and application in medicine field are summarized.
