摘　　要：高等教育迅速的发展；国家人事制度的改革；中小学数学新课程标准的出台i为高师数学专业带来了巨大的挑战。高师数学专业为应对挑战一方面必须坚持课程结构、培养目标、教学方法和教学手段上实行改革；另一方面必须坚持优先发展自己的传统专业一数学教育专业，还要发展自己的师资力量，逐步拓宽学生的专业口径，以增强学生在就业市场的竞争力。Along with the educational reform in tertiary schools and the implementation of reform measures in personnel management system and the new curriculum standards for primary and secondary schools, the mathematics specialty in normal colleges and universities faces great challenges. In reply to the challenges, the mathematics specialty must make necessary changes in its curricular structure, instructional objectives, and teaching methods and approaches. In addition, priority should be given to its traditional specialty Maths Education. To help students in job hunting, new elements should be added to the specialty.
