摘　　要：通过介绍广东木材工业的现状及发展历程,提出资源紧张是广东木材加工企业所面临的最大挑战,而广东速生丰产林的迅猛发展,将改善木材资源短缺的状况,并将进一步促进广东木材工业的发展。History and status of the wood industry in Guangdong province are reviewed. The shortage of wood resources is pointed to as the greatest challenge facing this area of China, as far as further developing the wood industry. However, the issue of wood resources will be resolved by planting fast-growing forests, which will definitely promote the development of the wood industry in Guangdong province.
