关于西北少数民族地区妇女参政问题的思考——以东乡族为例

摘　　要：妇女参政是法律赋予每一个妇女公民的基本权利,它主要包括民主参与和权力参与两个方面。但是西北少数民族地区妇女在参政方面仍存在许多问题。她们普遍对选举的政治意义和重要性了解不够,对民主选举的期望值很小,女领导干部比例偏低。因此我们要积极创造有利条件,为少数民族地区妇女参政营造良好的社会氛围和为妇女参政提供更多的机遇。Women＇s participation in political activities is a basic fight entrusted on them by the law. It mainly consists of two parts- democracy participation and power participation. But there exist quite a lot of problems concerning women＇s participation in political activities in the North-West region inhibited by ethnic minority groups. General speaking, they are not aware of the political significance of suffrage and have law expectation of the democratic election. The proportion of women leaders is too low. Therefore, we should create favourable conditions for women in the ethnic minority groups region to participate in political activities. We should create good social and family environment for them, thus provide them with more opportunities to participate in political activities.
