摘　　要：用定量金相对易切削钢硫化物特性———数量、面积、宽度、长度和长宽比进行数值分析,用数理统计频数分析对硫化物分布特性进行了表征,用聚类分析对易切削钢硫化物特性分布进行了分类。Statistical analysis on characteristics of sulphide such as amount, area, width, length and the ratio of length to width in free cutting steel was carried out by quantitative metallography. The distribution of sulphide in free-cutting steel is takened by frequency analysis of descriptive statistics. The classification of free-cutting steels was done by clustering analysis according to the characteristics of sulphide.
