摘　　要：“三个代表”重要思想是我们党必须长期坚持的指导思想,也是新时期爱国统一战线的行动指南。在中华民族伟大复兴的历史进程中,统一战线工作只有以与时俱进的科学精神,以促进社会生产力的发展、把握先进文化的前进方向、维护最广大人民的根本利益为目标,不断推动社会主义的物质文明、精神文明、政治文明协调发展,才能切实做好新时期的统战工作,真正肩负起统战工作的历史使命。The important thought of Three Represents is a guiding ideology the Party must follow for a long time and also an action guiding patriotic united front. In the great cause of rejuvenating the Chinese nation, the united front could shoulder the grand mission in history only if the united front takes it as the objectives to accelerate the development of China＇ s advanced productive forces, hold the orientation of the development of China＇s advanced culture, and maintain the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the people in China with the scientific spirit of keeping pace with the times to keep the coordinated development of the socialist material, political and spiritual civilizations.
