摘　　要：发展当代中国先进文化,“就是发展面向现代化、面向世界、面向未来的,民族的科学的大众的社会主义文化”。作为公益性文化事业的图书馆,是传承当代中国先进文化的重要枢纽,是传播当代中国先进文化的重要阵地,也是当代中国先进文化发展的重要力量。其重要地位不仅关系到图书馆事业的改革与发展,也关系到中国特色社会主义文化建设的发展和进步。The development of China＇s advanced culture is ＂to develop the fock, scientific and mass socialist culture to modernization, to the world, to the future.＂ Library, as the public welfare, is an important hab, dissemination and main force ＂of inheriting comtemporary China＇s advanced culture. The important status of it is related notonly to the cause of reform and development of library, but also to the building of socialist culture with characteristics development and progress.
