摘　　要：钟是古代礼乐制度的重要载体之一。在先秦时期,礼与乐是并称的,两者相辅相成,相互为用。在楚境内,今天的湖北随州出土的曾侯乙编钟制作精美,稀世珍贵,具有很高的鉴赏价值及研究价值。本文着重从编钟的艺术性及美学上进行论述,并研究此造型符号在现代设计之中的应用。Chime was one of importance carrier on ancient ceremony and music system. Ceremony and music were the same important. They were supplementing each other and reaction each other. In Chu churchyard, Chime of Zenghouyi came up out of land in Shuizhou of Hubei province. They have high appreciating value and study value. Chime＇ s aesthetics and art were emphasized and studied. The application of Chime symbol in design filed was discussed.
