摘　　要：在综合分析现有元数据平台的基础之上,根据目前城市USDI建设的需要,结合成熟的技术,提出了一种采用XML描述元数据标准,依托统一的B/S三层体系结构,建立起城市分布式空间元数据管理平台的模式,并结合“数字合肥”的USDI共享交换平台建设实践,证明了该模式的可行性。Firstly, the paper presents the concept of USDI and metadata. Then after analyzing the existing system, a mode of building distributed spatial metadata system, which adopts XML as metadata standard and the three - layer B/S as basic framework, is proposed according to the requirements of USDI of construction. Finally, the paper presents the design and realization of the metadata managing system that introduces the total design and confirms its feasibility in the construction of USDI sharing and exchanging platform of ＂Digital Hefei＂.
