摘　　要：时钟/日历芯片PCF8583是一种实时时钟集成电路,硬件方面介绍了PCF8583的结构、功能及工作原理;软件方面,因为PCF8583是通过I2C总线方式与各种单片机接口的,先介绍了I2C总线的时序,最后采用C51语言对51单片机进行软件编程,实现了对PCF8583芯片的读写,并调试成功,最终完成了串行实时时钟功能。PCF8583 that is clock/calendar chip is the integrated circuits of real-time clock. Firstly, it introduces the configuration,functions and running principles of PCF8583 in hardware. As PCF8583 links with MCU by I^2C,it also introduces the time sequence of I^2C. SCM reads and writes PCF8583 by programming with C51, and the functions of series realtime clock are done.
