摘　　要：MD5算法是当今应用最广泛的提取数字指纹的算法,其采用复杂的线性运算和单向加密生成数字指纹.作者详细分析了MD5算法的实现原理,然后提出MD5算法在远程身份认证的实际应用和实现.Message-Digest Algorithm 5 is a widdy-used algorkhm for abstracting digital fingerprint. It is produced by complex liuear operation and one-way encryption algorithm. The authors analyzed the principle of the MD5 algorithm in details , and discussed a improved method that the application of MD5 algorithm in distanced-identity authentication.
