摘　　要：当前是一个变革的时代。中国古老的农业社会在变革,几千年贫穷落后的农村社会正在向小康社会迈进。高等农业教育在农村全面建设小康社会中应该发挥重要作用,这种作用主要体现在培养人才,发展科学技术,传播先进文化,提升农村教育等方面,这些作用最终是为了人的发展。It is an era of transformation nowadays. The ancient Chinese agricultural society is changing, from a impoverished and laggard situation to a comfortable society. The agricultural higher education should plays an important role in the construction of comfortable society of rural area. This role is mainly shown in the cultivation of talents, the development of science and technology, the transmission of advanced culture and enhancing the education of countryside. All of these functions are for the development of people.
