泾县野生金头闭壳龟资源现状  

Current Status of the Wild Golden-Headed Box Turtle(Cuora aurocapitata) in Jing County,Anhui Province

摘　　要：于2001-2004年对安徽省泾县金头闭壳龟野生种群的分布、数量进行了调查.结果表明:金头闭壳龟目前在泾县的分布仅限于古坝、蔡村和孤峰三乡的山涧溪流,分布范围为北纬30°27′到30°52′.在约80km2范围内,分布有80-240只金头闭壳龟.由于人们的活动使得栖息地范围不断缩小,从而导致其种群数量锐减.对金头闭壳龟采取切实有效的保护措施已刻不容缓.The golden-headed box turtle （ Cuora aurocapitata ） acted as the special species in China. It was found and named in 1988 by LUO Bi-tao and ZONG Yu. A survey on the geographical distribution and number of the wild golden-headed box turtle was conducted in Jing County, southeast of Anhui Province. from 2001 to 2004. The result showed there were about 80 - 240 individuals remaining in an area of 80 km^2 and the turtles were in the rivulet of Guba Town, Cai Town and Gufeng Town, about north latitude from 30°27′ to 30°52′ . In recent years, the number of the populations and the habitat of the turtles decreased sharply because of the activities from the human being. It is the time for us to take the effective measures to protect it.
