Studies on Preparation of Terephthalic Acid by Indirect Electro-oxidation Using Cr(Ⅵ) as Oxidic Medium

摘  要:研究了槽外式间接电氧化对二甲苯生成对苯二甲酸的反应,得出最佳条件:投料比n(Cr(Ⅳ))∶n(对二甲苯)=4.5∶1,硫酸浓度5.0 mol.L-1,六价铬离子浓度0.45mol.L-1,反应温度110℃。在此条件下,对苯二甲酸的收率可达78.5%。同时,对铬酸氧化对二甲苯残液循环利用进行了研究,电解液循环利用10次以上,铬离子的转化率和电流效率保持稳定。The synthesis of terephthalic acid by indirect electro-oxidation was studied and the optimum conditions were examined. The obtained optimum conditions were n[Cr (Ⅳ)] : n(p-xylene)=4.5 : 1, reaction temperature 110 ℃, concentration of sulfuric acid 5.0 mol · L^-1 and concentration of Cr( Ⅵ ) 0. 45 mol · L^- 1. Under above conditions, the yield of terephthalic acid was 78.5 %. Moreover, the circulating utilization of the used electrolyte for the oxidation of p-xylene was studied. After ten times of circulating use of the electrolyte, the conversion rate of Cr (Ⅲ) and the current efficiency showed no obvious changes.
