摘　　要：四川省和重庆市都提出工业强省(市)战略,以新型工业化带动国民经济的有效发展,加快现代化进程。这标志着西部现代工业经济发展的新的历史阶段的到来,它必将对西部发展产生深刻的影响。研究西部工业发展历史,以史为鉴,可知西部工业发展历程中的经验和教训,从而对四川省的工业强省战略,以及对我国西部新型工业化的发展都具有重要的政策启示作用。The Siehuan province and Chongqing City formed a ＂big industries＂ strategy which aiming at promofing national economy and speeding up modernization by industrialization. This marked a new historical period for the development of the modem industrial economic growth in West China. It will have a profound influence on the development of the west regions. To study the history of west industrial development, we should learn from history the experience and lessons. This will promote the new industrialization in west regions,
