视频变速率编码的统计模型研究

摘　　要：重点讨论在宽带综合业务网（ＢＩＳＤＮ）异步传送模式（ＡＴＭ）环境下，视频编码的统计特性及模型．研究中使用了两种变速率编码方法；运动自适应分类编码和小波变换编码．采用多状态马尔可夫链高斯自回归模型对比特／帧进行拟合，具有较好的通用性和精确度．This paper presents results of our study of some of the source modeling and performance issues related to providing video services with variable bit rates in the ATM-BISDN environment. Two variable bit rates coding methods, motion adaptive classified coding and wavelet transform coding, are used in our research. The experiment shows that the sequence of coded bit rates can be modeled more accurately by an AR process whose parameters vary with time according to the state of a discrete Markov chain.
