摘　　要：本文对无线局域网的标准──８０２．１１做了一个总体的介绍，包括其传输媒体、网络拓扑结构、媒体访问控制等。ＩＥＥＥ８０２．１１是无线局域网的一个新标准，需要经过实践检验并在实践中逐步改进和完善。This paper gives a general introduction to the IEEE 802.11 a new wireless standard which needs to be tested and improved in practice. This introduction covers the basic media,network topologies,medium access control,etc.in the field of wireless local area network technology.
