摘　　要：主动网是一种新型的网络体系结构,它可以根据网络应用和服务的要求,对网络进行编程,因而大大加快了新网络应用和服务的实施,适应了网络快速发展的需要。介绍了主动网的发展、体系结构,探讨了主动网的应用现状以及所面临的一些问题,最后介绍了主动网在代理传输方面的应用实例。Active Network is a new kind of network architecture. It can program the network according to what the services request, so it accelerates greatly the pace of implementation of new network services and satisfies the need of the Internet. This paper introduces the development and the architecture of active network in detail,discusses the current application situation, some problems met in active network research. It also introduces an example of the application of active network proxy transport server.
