摘　　要：介绍的是由中国人提出的城域网国际标准多业务环MSR。在简述了该技术标准产生的背景后,重点分析MSR的协议框架、描绘MSR的网络架构。依据MSR技术特点,作者对它在实现“三网合一”和提高网络性能等方面的作用做了着重探讨。在文章最后,还尝试性地提出了该技术在城域网的核心,汇聚及接入三个层面的建设过程中的应用思路。The paper introduces a international technological standard in the domain of Metropolitan Area Network （MAN） that is proposed by Chinese.That is Multi-Service Ring （MSR）.After describing the generated background of MSR briefly,the article plays an emphasis on analyzing the protocol frame of MSR and depicting the network structure of MSR.In accordance with the characteristic of MSR,the author makes a probing deeply on the function of MSR in the course of realizing the dream of three in one network and enhancing the telecommunication network capacity.At the end of the article,the author presents practical idea tentatively about the construction of MAN at core layer, convergence layer and access layer in MAN respectively.
