摘　　要：文章简要地阐述了学术期刊的特点和作用。论述了要充分开发利用学术期刊资源为用户服务,必须做好学术期刊资源建设、学术期刊的采访工作、信息咨询服务工作、开展个性化推送服务,全面提高期刊工作人员的素质,开展用户教育。The article briefly expounds the characteristics and functions of the academic journals. The author holds that it is highly necessary to fully exploit and utilize the academic journals to serve the users by perfecting the construction of academic journals, bettering the purchase work of the journals and periodicals, improving the information inquiry service work, carrying out the individualized push-service, enhancing the quality of librarians responsible for the periodicals and journals comprehensively and carrying out the education to the users.
