摘　　要：优秀的多媒体播放软件大多体积庞大,占用系统资源较多.Windows多媒体体系结构具有可扩展性和与设备无关性,非常便于多媒体应用程序的开发;VFP提供的ActiveX控件、API函数等技术具有强大的多媒体编程功能.结合以上技术特点,阐述了在VFP环境下利用API函数制作多媒体播放器的设计方案和实现方法,使得应用软件占用系统资源少,运行效率高,丰富了应用软件的功能.The volume of the excellent Multimedia player is huge mostly, and takes many system resources. The Windows multimedia system construction has expansibility and hardware-independent characteristics, which were very easy to develop Multimedia application software; The ActiveX control and API function which were provided by VFP have powerful Multimedia programming function. This paper combines above technology characteristics, elaborates the design proposal of Multimedia player and the realization method under the environment of VFP using API function, which make application .software take up few system resources, with highly operating efficiency, and enrich the function of the application software.
