摘　　要：为更好地反映大气环境污染变化趋势,加大环境污染控制力度,预防严重污染事件发生,开展城市空气质量报告及空气污染预报工作是十分必要的。文章概括地论述了开展此项研究的目的、意义、基本方法及其进展。As the economy of China is developing at a high speed, the environmental total emission of pollutant is increasing constantly, the pollution range continues expanding, the atmospheric environmental pollution problem is becoming more serious, in order to reflect the variation tendency of environmental pollution better, strengthen environmental pollution control dynamics, prevent the serious contamination accident from happening, the urban air quality report and air pollution prediction is very essential. This text has described the purpose, meaning, basic method and progress to launch this research briefly.
