摘　　要：t-Butyl 4’-bromomethylbiphenyl-2-carboxylate was prepared from 4’-methylbiphenyl-2-carbonitrile by hydrolysis, esterification and bromination with an overall yield of 61%。t-Butyl 4′-bromomethylbiphenyl-2-carboxylate was prepared from 4′-methylbiphenyl-2-carbonitrile by hydrolysis, esterification and bromination with an overall yield of 61%.
