摘　　要：针对目前文献对WEB上中文信息数量的矛盾报道,我们采用关键词词频统计方法,以英语为参照系,对INTERNET上中文科学信息资源进行了调查分析。调查结果截止到2005年1月WEB上中文科学信息数量约为英文的3.54%,占互联网上科技信息总量的2.55%左右。该测量的结果对于国家制定信息获取等方面的科研政策具有参考意义,对于选择信息资源建设战略、推动海量中文信息资源建设,制定信息资源开发利用的政策也具有参考价值。In view of the current contradietive reports of Chinese information quantity on the Web, we survey the Chinese scientific information resources on the Intemet with the keyword method. The Findings are that：by the end of January 2005, （1） the quantity of Chinese scientific information on Web is about 3.54 % of the number of English, and （2） Chinese scientific information approximately represents 2.55% of total quantities of scientific information on the Internet. This survey results have some important reference values for the development of Chinese scientific information on the Web,the policy making for information access and exploitation in China.
