Histological Studies on the Gasters of Bactrian Camels

摘　　要：双峰驼胃分为前胃和皱胃。前胃分２室，第一室有前、后２个腺囊区，第二室只有１个腺囊区。胃壁由粘膜、粘膜下层、肌层和浆膜构成。３个腺囊区的结构类似，均由界限明显的有腺部和无腺部组成，有腺部的腺体类似牛、羊的贲门腺。第一室非腺囊区、贲门、第二室食道沟及３个腺囊区的无腺部结构类似，其粘膜上皮为复层扁平上皮，表层细胞角化。皱胃分贲门腺、胃底腺和幽门腺３个腺体区，与牛。Five gasters of bactrian camel from Inner Mongolia autonomous region were studied in the field and the laboratory. The results showed that the gasters of bactrian camel could be divided into proventriculus with two compartments and the abomasum. There were three regions of glandular sacs in the proventriculus, two in the first compartment and one in the second. All the gastric wall consisted of four layers: mucous membrane, tunica submucosa, tunica muscularis and tunica serosa. All the mucous membranes of glandular sacs had the same histological structures and could be divided into glandular regions and non glandular ones. The glandular regions were consisted of glands resembling cardiac glands of bovine animals. In the glandular sacs, a clean cut demarcation could be seen between the stratified squamous epithelia and the simple columnar one. The non glandular regions of the first compartment, the cardia, the sulcus esophagus and non glandular regions in the glandular sacs were covered with the same stratified squamous epithelia. The abomasum could be divided into three regions with different glands: glandulae pyloricae, glandulae cardiacae and glandulae fundus ventriculi. The histological structure of the regions was found similar to that of bovine animals. With the consideration of these characteristics, it seems that the gaster of bactrian camels could be divided into two parts: the proventriculus and the abomasum. The histological structure of the proventriculus glands bear the same structure of the cardiac glands of bovine animals, so it might has the same digestive function.
