摘　　要：斯图尔德是新进化论学派的代表人物之一,他的理论对于人类学的发展乃至整个社会科学的进步都起到了巨大的影响。文章第一部分概述了他所创立的文化生态学的渊源,尤其是澄清了它与生态人类学之间的关系;接着概括了斯图尔德的三个核心观点,并结合其他一些人类学家的研究对其理论做出了适当的评论。Julian Steward is a representative researcher of ＂New Evolution＂ school. His theory impacted the development of anthropology and the improvement of the whole social science. In this thesis, the author firstly introduced the origin of his cultural ecology theory, especially distinguished his theory with ecological anthropology. Then, the writer summarized three core viewpoints of Julian Steward and did some comments on the base of some research of other anthropologists.
