摘　　要：以广东省经济发展和高等教育发展为背景,运用国际上常用的考察高等教育发展程度的一些基本指标,从物质层面、制度层面和观念层面,对广东省高等教育现代化现状进行研究.着重指出制度创新是广东省高等教育现代化的关键,并探讨其路径,最终从制度创新方面对于广东省如何实现高等教育现代化提出了自己的几点思考.In view of the development in economy and higher education in Guangdong, and with certain international benchrmarks frequently used when assessing the level of higher education development, the paper analyzes the current conditions of higher education modernization in Guangdong in the respects of hardware, system, and perception. In particular, the paper holds that innovation is the key to the modernization of higher education in Guangdong. The paper also explores the direction of innovation and concludes with several insights as how to realize the systematic innovation of the modernization of higher education in Guangdong.
