50 mg/g.The Permo-Carboniferous source rocks has been meted with many times and complicated tectonic alteration, and come through inhomogeneous uplifted, deformed, buried depth or magma effect in the Huanghua Depression since its sediment. Which brought on the its discontinuity and grading of hydrocarbon generation evolution. Taking the researches on the tectonic evolution as a basic approach. The tectonic-burial history, tectonic-heated history and tectonichydrocarbon-generation history of Permo-Carboniferous source rocks in the Huanghua Depression were studied using modern oil & gas geology theories and modern analysis or measurement technologies. The hydrocarbon-generation evolution process under the tectonic control and the tectonic episodes, strength of hydrocarbon-generation and time-spatial distribution of the Permo-Carboniferous coal series were revealed. The study show that three times of hydrocarbon-generation processes had taken place since the late Paleozoic formation in Huanghua Depression, and the most baried depth of Permo-Carboniferous took place in the Cenozoic, which exceed 3 500 m, and the maximum relative hydrocarbon-generation of organic mcterial was over 50 mg/g.
