摘　　要：东北地区是新中国建国之初重点建设的以重工业为主体的工业基地,在新中国工业发展的初期承担了历史的重任,创造了光荣的历史。这里不仅诞生了新中国工业的许多个第一,还为全国工业的发展输送了大量的技术人才、燃料和原材料,在全国人民的心目中树立起了一座座不朽的工业丰碑。东北工业规模庞大,分布集中,门类齐全,具有发展工业旅游的优良条件。通过工业旅游开发,必将对东北老工业基地的振兴和产业结构调整产生积极的推动作用。The northeast China is a heavy industry base that was primarily established and developed during the beginning of the new China. It had great historical duty during the beginning of industrial development in the new China, and created brilliant industrial history for itself. Many ＂the first＂ of industrial history in the China were born in this region. A great deal of engineers and technicians and stacks of energy resources and industrial raw materials had been transported from this area to regions of our country and supported their industrial construction. This area has left good impression in the mind of the people over the whole country. So it is called ＂the eldest son of the People＇s Republie of China＂. The Northeaster region has larger industrial size and system consisting of different industrial departments. It has good condition and potentiality for developing industrial tourism. This article has analyzed the driving force and advantage conditions in developing tourism, for example, requirement of reminiscence, requirement of experience, requirement of study, and so on. it has offered some methods on exploiting the industrial tourism for the region.
