摘　　要：对湖北少数民族地区农村中小学体育师资、场地设施及体育教学等现状进行了调查,并分析了存在的问题和差距,认为影响该地区农村中小学体育与健康课程实施的主要因素是:场地器材及经济条件的限制;教师对新课程标准的理解、掌握及认同上的差异;教师的敬业精神和业务水平及领导的重视程度等。以期为该地区农村中小学体育与健康教育发展的趋势和应采取的相关对策提供理论和实践依据。By analysing the current situation of teaching staff, installation space and physical education teaching of the middie and primary schools in the minority nationalities regions countryside of Hubei province, we concluded that the factors restrained the physical education coarses to put into effect are as follow： low economic level, apparatus shortage, lack of understanding new course standards, low dedication and teaching ability, and thinking less of it from leadership. And then we bring forward some suggestion for the development of the physical education teaching in this area.
