摘  要:A variety of affecting factors on ultrasonic degradation of methylene blue in the presence of TiO2 were studied.The results indicated that the effects of ultrasonic degradation were more apparent in the presence of nanometer rutile TiO2 than of the solely ultrasonic ones.The sonochemical degradation kinetic of methylene blue in water was first-order.The degradation rate of methylene blue reached up to 80% in 120 min at ultrasonic frequency of 40kHz,power input of 50W,amount of catalyst of 1.0g/L,pH 5.16 and initial dye concentration of 5.0mg/L.Therefore,this method has better prospects in application.A variety of affecting factors on ultrasonic degradation of methylene blue in the presence of TiO2 were studied.
