摘　　要：保护历史街区是城市历史文化遗产保护体系的重要环节,历史街区作为一种动态型的城市遗产,它的永续发展就是在街区保护的过程中,实现街区繁荣、环境舒适与社区和谐的目标。笔者以苏州古城平江历史街区的保护规划及实践为例, 阐述在新的发展形势下,探索历史街区保护在编制和实施中的新思路和方法。Conservation of historic district plays the most important role in the system of urban heritage conservation. As a dynamic urban heritage, sustainable development of historic district is seeking the purposes of economy prosperity, comfortable environment and harmonious community. In the case of conservation planning and practice for Pingjiang historic district of Suzhou City, the paper introduces the new notion and method for urban planning and practice of historic district.
