摘 要:对作为个体的人的主体身份的认同,无疑是新时期文学最重要的意义诉求。本文以20世纪70年代末到80年代初出现的“寻找男子汉”这样一个独特的文化现象为突破口,从性别的视角介入新时期叙事文本对个人主体、自我的表述,即关于个人主体的话语。这一话语其实隐含了深重的性别政治,在这一话语中建立起来的普遍化、中性化的“个人主体”实际上有着明确的性别———男性。对男子汉气概的模塑与个人主体的建构是合二为一的。同时,个人主体身份在相当程度上还被表述为知识男性的主体身份。性别权力作为权力的最基本形式渗透到一切权力的构成中。因此,性别视阈事实上开启一个透视新时期文学象征场域错综复杂的权力机制的新路径。The self-identification of human subject as an individual is no doubt the most important appeal of meaning in the new period literature. This paper focuses on the peculiar cultural phenomenon of “searching for masculinity” in the late 1970s and early 1980s, and, from the perspective of gender, to intervene the self-enunciation or discourse of “individual subjectivity” in the new period narrative. Implicit in this discourse is the gender politics in which the universalized and neutralized “individual subjectivity” is designated with a striking mark-male. The molding of masculinity and the construction of individual subjectivity are one, and meanwhile, at a certain level, the identity of the individual subject is also represented as that of the male. The power of gender as the most fundamental form of power penetrates into the constitution of all powers, and therefore, the horizon of gender in fact opens a new perspective for the complicated symbolism for power mechanism in the new period literature.
