摘　　要：近年来，杂交水稻重穗型组合很受群众欢迎，种植面积越来越大。从杂交稻组合方面分析了重穗型组合的增产潜力及提出了今后选育重穗型组合的一些设想和做法。Based on the analysis of panicle weight, i.e., the weight of grains per panicle, of the prevailing combinations used in Guangxi from 1970's to 1990's and some promising newly-developed heavy-panicle combinations, it is indicated that the heavy panicle weight is the major factor in the yield increase of hybrid rice combinations. The methods and principles for selection of heavy-panicle combinations were also suggested.
