摘 要:光环行器是一种多端口输入输出的非互易光无源器件,它已成为现在及将来的光纤通信系统中的重要器件之一。本文介绍了一种高隔离度偏振无关四端口光环行器的结构及原理,并采用琼斯矩阵对光环行器的性能指标插入损耗和隔离度从理论上进行分析。结果表明,这种结构使光环行器的隔离度大大提高,有较强的可行性。消光比和旋转误差对隔离度的影响很大,提高器件的消光比,减小旋转误差,可提高反向隔离度。而插入损耗的大小取各组成元器件的固有插入损耗及透射率。An optical circulator is a kind of passive device of multi - input - output - port with nonreciprocal property. It has become one of the most important devices for optical communication systems now and in the future to come. This paper describes a high - isolation polarization - insensitive optical circulator configuration and theory, and analyzes its insertion loss and isolation with Jones - Matrix. The results show that the circulator with such a configuration can greatly increase its isolation, and has strong feasibility. The extinction rate and the rotation error can affect the isolation greartly. Increasing the exthinction rate and decrease the rotation error can improve the isolation. The insertion loss is decided by the fixed insertion loss and projection rate of each group of components.
