摘　　要：英国应力蒙皮设计规范BS5950-9对屋面和墙面维护结构所用压型钢板的应力蒙皮作用包括设计与施工作了详细的规定。本文介绍了该规范主要内容的第一部分。In this paper, the British standard BS5950-9： code of practice for stressed skin design is introduced. The code has detail provisions for the design and construction of the roof diaphragm and wall cladding by using profiled steel sheeting. This is the first part of the code.
