摘　　要：通过对专题情报服务和科技查新服务的比较分析,提出在科技查新过程中,应根据查新机构和用户的实际情况对查新项目开展专题情报服务,探讨了科技查新机构从事专题情报服务的必要性、可能性以及开展专题情报服务的过程。This paper compares and analyzes the distinctive features of subject information service and technical novelty consultation service, holds the view that it is required to develop the subject information service according to the situations of the institution and the users. In addition, the necessity, the practicality and the process of subject information service are discussed.
