摘 要:采用助熔剂法生长了优质透明的Tm3+/Yb3+:GdAl3(BO3)4晶体.在室温下测试了晶体的偏振吸收谱,对谱图中的7个吸收峰进行了能级归属,并计算了偏振吸收截面.实验表明,晶体能够采用两种商业化的InGaAs LD或GaAlAs LD进行泵浦.讨论了Yb离子敏化Tm离子过程中能量传递的方式,并展示了晶体在多波长激光方面潜在的应用前景.High optical quality Tm^3+/Yb^3+ : GdAl3 (BO3 )4 laser crystal was grown from the solvent system of K2Mo3O10 - B2O3 by the top seed solution growth (TSSG) method. The polarized absorption spectra were investigated at room temperature, and the polarized absorption cross sections were calculated. The result shows this crystal would be pumped by each one of InGaAs LD and GaAlAs LD, which have been commercial. The energy transfer mechanism between Tm^3+ and Yb^3+ was discussed and the potential application in multi - wavelength laser of Tm^3+/Yb^3+ : GdAl3 (BO3)4 crystal was shown.
