摘　　要：武陵地区是湘、鄂、渝、黔四省(市)的边远山区构成的一个特殊地理区域。在这一特殊地区里长期较封闭地世居着以土家族、苗族为主体的少数民族,从而形成了独特的地域性文化。研究这种独特的地域性文化而形成的地方性文献,包括这些文献的载体形态、范围、特征等,不仅有利于对武陵地区地方文献的开发和利用,而且对于保存、继承、弘扬武陵地区的民族文化,发展经济,构建和谐社会等均有着重要的意义。Wuling region is a special geography district that is made up of outlying mountain areas of four provinces as Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan and Guizhou. In this special region Tujia and Miaos--based minority ethnic people live for a long time, thus became the special region culture. Studying the local document is made up of the special region culture, including the cartier, the scope, characteristic.., etc. of these documents, not only is advantageous to the development and exploitations of the local document of Wuling region, but also has the important meaning, for to keep, inherit, expand the culture and to develop the economy, to set up harmonioussociety etc.
