摘　　要：无论在东方还是在西方,“点”都是构成绘画的最基本的元素。在绘画发展过程中,中西方绘画逐渐形成了各自独特而又相对稳定的艺术风格,绘画技法也各具特色。尽管中西方绘画中的“点”在世界文化交流中不断地发生交叉和融合,但由于地域、文化、审美习惯的差异和对绘画功用的不同理解,中西方绘画中的“点”始终呈现出很大的差异性。＂Dot＂ is the fundamental element of painting both in the east and the west. In the development of painting, the east and the west each have gradually formed their unique but relatively steady art styles and drawing skills. The two are continuously blending, influencing each other in the world cultural communication, but there has always been a big difference in ＂dot＂ between the Chinese painting and western painting because of the regional, cultural and aesthetic differences and the different understandings of the functions of painting.
